Haleigh Reindl has been named a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track All-American. The USTFCCCA All-American Team was announced on Tuesday, May 26. This is Reindl's first All-America honor.
Reindl, a native of Waterford, Wis., was set to make her second national indoor appearance at the 2020 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas before the suspension of competition due to COVID-19. She ranked seventh among the 19-runner field in the 800-meter run with a converted time of 2:09.95.
Due to the cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, the NCAA Division II Track & Field Executive Committee honored all student-athletes on the start list for each event.
Reindl was also named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference fall, winter and spring All-Academic team as well as to the USTFCCCA All-Region team earlier this year. Reindl was named as the NSIC Indoor Track Athlete of the week in the beginning of January and was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
