The University of Minnesota Duluth men's cross country team will head south to Romeoville, Illinois this weekend for the Lewis Crossover, hosted by Lewis University.
This will be the Bulldogs' last race until the conference championship and will give the team a sense of where they stack up against their regional competition. The current No. 1 overall team in the country in Grand Valley State University will be in attendance along with multiple nationally or regionally ranked teams.
When the team raced in the Lewis Crossover in 2017, Cody Sedbrook was the first Bulldog across the line, finishing 25th overall. The team placed 14th overall in a field of 31 total teams. Four Bulldogs placed in the top 90.
In their last race, the Roy Griak Invitational in St. Paul, the team came in 11th. The team took the top spot overall in the Dan Conway Classic earlier in the season.
Saturday's 8,000 meter race will begin at 10:30am on the campus of Lewis University.
