Haleigh Reindl finished seventh in the NCAA II Outdoor Track and Field 800-meter championship. Reindl ran a time of 2:08.77
in tonight's championship race. Reindl's time of 2:08.77 breaks her PR of last night, as the fastest 800-meter time she has recorded during her collegiate career.
Reindl earns All-American status for the first time in her Bulldog career in the outdoor 800 meter run with her seventh place finish. Haleigh is the first Bulldog since Danielle Kowhley reached the feat in 2019. Reindl will go down as the seventh best NCAA II Track and Field athlete in the 800-meter run for the 2020-21 Outdoor Track and Field season.
Reindl who will take advantage of the NCAA Eligibility waiver is only considered a sophomore in this 2021 outdoor season. Look for her to continue to be at the top of mid-distance events as she continues her Bulldog career.
