BROOKE OLSON NAMED TO WBCA ALL AMERICAN TEAM

UMD Bulldogs "ALLETE" Moments: Competition
Throughout this year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Power, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs accomplishments in the 3 C's: Classroom, Competition, Community. 

Duluth, Minn. -- The WBCA released their 2021-22 All-American women's basketball teams on Wednesday morning. Senior Brooke Olson was named to the All-American team for the 2021-22 season. 

This is the third time Olson has been recognized by the WBCA. She was named as the to the WBCA First Team All-American team three times. Olson has also been named to the D2CCA All-American Team, as well as been named to the All-Region team. Olson was once again named the NSIC North Division Player of the Year after she tallied 18.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. She did so shooting 51.2% from the field on the season. Olson also reached the 1,500 point mark for her career during the season, becoming just 7th Bulldog All-Time to reach that mark. Olson also helped lead the Bulldogs to their third straight regular season championship and second straight NSIC Tournament championship.
