The 2021 NSIC Champion Minnesota Duluth football team has released their schedule for the 2022 campaign. The Bulldogs will play a total of five home games and six road games in 2022.

UMD opens the 2022 season against Southwest Minnesota State University from Malosky Stadium at 6:00 PM on Thursday, Sept. 1. During their last meeting on Oct. 13, 2018, UMD used a 42-13 victory to roll past SMSU. The Bulldogs will then travel to Mankato, Minn. for a road matchup with the Mavericks of Minnesota State. Last season, UMD defeated the then ranked No. 3 Mavericks 30-10 during UMD's home-opener on Sept. 11. In week four, UMD will make the trip to Sioux Falls for the first time since Oct. 19, 2019. Additionally, when the Bulldogs visit Northern State on Saturday, Nov. 12, it'll be UMD's first time playing at NSU's Dacotah Bank Stadium. 

The Bulldogs will hold their annual spring game on Friday, Apr. 22 at 5:30 PM from Malosky Stadium in Duluth.
