Caliee Peterson advanced to the finals of the women's mile at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday in Virginia Beach, VA. Peterson finished first in heat number one with a time of 4:49.54.
The women's mile prelims took place on Friday and the finals will take place on Saturday, March 11th at 3:20 pm. The top three from each heat (two heats) along with the next three fastest times advance to the finals on Saturday at 3:20 pm.
How to Follow:
Peterson will look to become the fourth overall All-American for the Bulldogs in the mile. Emi Trost currently holds the UMD indoor record in the mile with a time of 4:37.57 at the NCAA Division II Championships in Pittsburg, KS (2016).
