The University of Minnesota Duluth Cross Country rosters continued their dominance today with both teams finishing in first place in the 2023 Bulldog Open at the Lester Park Golf Course in Duluth.

The cool, cloudy weather held up for the UMD runners as the Men's team was able to place first with 23 points, followed by St Scholastica (53), UW Superior (62), and Northland College (120). The UMD Women finished in a similar first place position with 19 points, followed by St. Scholastica (51), and UW Superior (72).

Senior Austin Antony earns this year's first place spot, leading the pack with a time of 18:13.3 in the Men's race. UMD round out their scoring positions with senior Owen Dickenson (4th - 18:23.50), senior Jack Van Kempen (5th - 18:27.10), graduate student Lucas Selman (6th - 18:39.10), and graduate student Jordan Gruenes (7th - 19:08.5).

Senior Lauryn Renier locks in the first place spot in the Women's race, finishing with a time of 18:35.0. UMD rounds out their scoring positions in this race with junior Savannah Schley (3rd - 18:51.5), sophomore Kira Almsberger (4th - 18:56.7), senior Erika Swanson (5th - 19:04.2), and senior Franny Seidel (6th - 19:07.0)
