THE SEASON SO FAR
The Bulldogs now sit at 16-5 overall and 11-4 in the conference after a thrilling home win over No.2 Mankato on Tuesday. They will carry a four game win streak into this weekend while they continue to defend their top four spot in the conference, giving them a first round bye for the conference tournament starting at the end of the month.
RANKINGS, RANKINGS, RANKINGS
The most recent NABC rankings that were released before Tuesday's game posted Mankato in the top for another week at the No.2 spot. MSU Moorhead dropped to No.12 after splitting their last weekend series and Minot State remains in the conversation at No.19. The Bulldogs rank at first in the conference and second in the nation amongst division two for best three point percentage defense (28.6) and lowest average turnovers per game (8.2).
WIECK'S MILLENNIALS
All five of the Bulldog's core starters (Austin Andrews, Drew Blair, Joshua Brown, Charlie Katona, and Jack Middleton) have achieved 1,000+ career points. The group currently has 7,324 combined points and look to grow that number throughout the season.
SCOUTING REPORT - AUGUSTANA
Augustana sits at sixth in the NSIC with an overall record of 13-7 and a conference record of 8-6. The Bulldogs are 3-8 against the Vikings since 2014, but most recently defeated them at home 92-65 earlier this season.
