The University of Minnesota Duluth women's basketball team is set to host three opponents inside Romano Gymnasium over the next week, featuring the College of St. Scholastica, the University of Wisconsin Superior, and Bethel University.
First off, the Bulldogs face the St. Scholastica Saints tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. Notably, UMD has faced St. Scholastica twice in exhibition games in the last four seasons (2021-22 and 2024-25), winning both.
Next up is the Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets on Monday, November 3rd, with tip-off set for 5:30 p.m. Looking at regular-season stats, the Bulldogs have won the last three outings. The three wins come from the 2013-17 period. All three games were played in Duluth, where the Bulldogs combined to outscore the Yellowjackets, 224-162.
The final exhibition match will see the Bulldogs face the Bethel Royals on Saturday, November 8th. UMD has played Bethel in exhibition matches the last four seasons (2021-25), claiming victory in each.
The regular season is set to begin for UMD on November 14th, with a road trip to Winona, Minnesota, to face Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
