The University of Minnesota Duluth women's basketball program has launched its 2025-26 season schedule Friday, with the first regular season match set for Nov. 14.
Starting the season, the team will host three exhibition games at Romano Gymnasium featuring St. Scholastica (Oct. 29), the University of Wisconsin Superior (Nov. 3), and Bethel University (Nov. 11). The Bulldogs then hit the road for their first week of road games, taking on four non-conference opponents from Nov. 14-21 including Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Michigan Technological University, and Northern Michigan University who appeared in the NCAA Midwest Regionals last season.
UMD then hosts its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matchup on Nov. 25 against Bemidji State University, with another match on Dec. 3 against the University of Minnesota Crookston. They then head back on the road from Dec. 6-13, facing three opponents, including Minnesota State University Moorhead, Northern State University, and the University of Jamestown.
The next five games will feature four games in Romano Gymnasium, with the first two against Minot State University (Dec. 18) and a rematch against the University of Mary, who they faced in the NSIC Tournament First Round last season. The second match against Bemidji State University will open the new year (Jan. 3) on the road before returning for matches against the University of Sioux Falls (Jan. 9) and Southwest Minnesota State University (Jan. 10).
For the rest of January, the team heads on road for four of six games from Jan. 16-31 facing Minnesota State University Mankato (Jan. 16), St. Cloud State University (Jan. 17), Wayne State University (Jan. 30), and Augustana University (Jan. 31). Between that they host Winona State University (Jan. 23) and the reigning NSIC Tournament Champions, Concordia University St. Paul (Jan. 24).
In the final month of the regular season, UMD will host three home games and travel to three. They first head to the University of Mary (Feb. 5) and Minot State University (Feb. 7) for their second matches of the season. The Bulldogs will host the University of Jamestown and Northern State University from Jan. 12-14 before heading to the University of Minnesota Crookston for their final road matchup. The final regular season match will also mark UMD's final scheduled home game against Minnesota State University Moorhead on Feb. 21.
