UMD Bulldogs "ALLETE" Moments: Competition

Throughout this year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Power, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs accomplishments in the 3 C's: Classroom, Competition, Community.

The University of Minnesota Duluth women's basketball team named graduate student Johanna Miller and junior Myra Moorjani to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All District Team for the 2024-25 season this morning.

Miller now earns her first CSC nomination of her career after transferring from Augustana University last season. In her first year with the Bulldogs, Miller led the team in total points (311) and total rebounds (187) after starting in all 28 games for UMD this season.

Moorjani now earns her second Academic All District nomination of her career after starting in all 28 games for the Bulldogs this season. Moorjani tallied 305 total points and 127 total rebounds this season while leading the team in total assists with 93.
