Madeline Guetzkow each earned sports on the Up North All-Tournament Team after helping lead the University of Minnesota Duluth Volleyball Team (7-0, 0-0 NSIC) to three home wins versus Michigan Tech, Adelphi and Northern Michigan last weekend at Romano Gymnasium. The pair earned all-tournament accolades for the second-straight week.

Broten hit .410 with a team-best 32 kills and added a team-high 15 total blocks over the weekend to help the Bulldogs to a 7-0 start to the season. She tallied a career-high 15 kills and nine blocks in the win over Michigan Tech, and hit .476 with 12 kills and four total blocks against Northern Michigan. The middle blocker added five kills and two blocks in the three-set sweep over Adelphi.

Guetzkow notched her third double-double of the season with 12 kills and a team-best 18 digs in the home-opener vs. the Huskies, nearly missing out on a triple-double with nine blocks and two service aces. The right side hitter hit .471 with nine kills in the three-set sweep over the Panthers and closed out the tournament with eight kills, six digs and two service aces against Northern Michigan.

UMD continues its six-game homestand Sept. 19-20 when it hosts Sioux Falls and No. 9 Southwest Minnesota State to open Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) action at Romano Gymnasium. Friday's match is set for 6 p.m. and Saturday's match will get underway at 2 p.m. Both matches will broadcast live on My9 Sports.
