University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey junior goaltender Eve Gascon has been named to the Hockey Commissioners Association National Goalie of the Year Watch List for a third-straight season.
The Mascouche, Quebec native was a HCA Goalie of the Year Finalist last season after she was a HCA Goalie of the Year Semifinalist as a freshman. Gascon is averaging 29.6 saves a game through 19 games so far this season with a .935 saves percentage and 2.11 goals against average. With four shutouts, Gascon also has four games with 45 or more saves, including two 50-games.Â
A First Team 2024-25 CCM/AHCA Women's Division I All-American and the 2024-25 WCHA Goaltender of the Year, Gascon owns the fourth-highest career saves percentage among all active NCAA Division I women's goaltenders (.942) and the seventh-most career shutouts (15.)
Goaltenders qualified by meeting minimum GAA (2.30 or lower) and save percentage (.920 or higher) standards. Other names may be added for consideration before the first formal vote.
Gascon and the Bulldogs will host St. Cloud State University this weekend in WCHAÂ play. The series will get underway Friday night at 6:02 p.m.
