The University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey team had 15 student athletes recognized by the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in its annual WCHA All-Academic Team, announced by the league Tuesday.
The list consists of 118 student-athletes who have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in their previous two semesters or three quarters and who have achieved at least sophomore status in their academic careers. The WCHA All-Academic Team is selected with the help of the Faculty Athletic Representatives from each of the member institutions. The Bulldogs marked a second-straight year with 15 student-athletes on the team.
