Two University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey players earned spots on the All-Western Collegiate Hockey Association teams announced on Thursday. Ève Gason picked up her second-consecutive All-WCHA First Team honor, while
Caitlin Kraemer follows up her All-WCHA Rookie Team honor from last season with an All-WCHA Third Team selection.
Gascon recorded a league-best .943 save percentage during conference play and was named the 2025-26 WCHA Goaltending Champion for her efforts. The Bulldog netminder collected 773 saves during league games and posted a 13-10-3 record along with her league-best seven shutouts. During the season, Gascon earned six WCHA Goaltender of the Week honors -- the most of any league goaltender. The Mascouche, Quebech product as posted nine shutouts, which is currently tied for second amongst all goaltenders in the NCAA.
Kraemer recorded 21 points (10g, 11a) in 26 league games for the Bulldogs this season, and has recorded 29 points overall on 15 goals and 14 assists. The Waterloo, Ontario posted seven multiple-point games this year and four game-winning goals. Kraemer's 29 points leads the Bulldogs this season.
Gascon and Kraemer will lead the No. 9 Bulldogs into the First Round of the WCHA tomorrow afternoon when they face No. 4 Minnesota State University, Mankato at 2:00 p.m. at AMSOIL Arena.
