Luke Stauffacher was chosen the WCHA’s Offensive Player of the Week after turning in a seven-point weekend (five goals, including two game-winners, and two assists) and finishing a +4 in UMD’s sweep of Bowling Green State University. The junior right wing had a hand in four of UMD's six goals Friday night -- scoring three times (for his first collegiate hat trick) and assisting on another score as the Bulldogs coasted to a 6-1 win. He added two more goals and an assist the next night in helping lead UMD past Bowling Green 5-4
Stauffacher's selection the fourth time this season a Bulldog has been bestowed with the league’s Offensive Player of the Week honor.
