2014 NSIC/U.S. Bank Women's Soccer Tournament WebsiteThe University of Minnesota Duluth played its best soccer of 2013 in the postseason and, with a three-game unbeaten streak to end the regular season, looks primed for a repeat performance this season as the Bulldogs travel to No. 23 Augustana (S.D.) College in the first round of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference/U.S. Bank tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
UMD (8-9-1, 8-6-1 NSIC) finished tied for seventh in the league and earned the seventh seed in the tournament thanks to a head-to-head win over Bemidji State University last Friday afternoon in Duluth. Unranked in the
first two NCAA II Central Region Top 10 polls, the Bulldogs will need postseason success and likely an NSIC tournament title as they look to make a repeat appearance in the NCAA II Tournament.
