The University of Minnesota Duluth placed five members of the Bulldog women's cross country on the 2014 Fall Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic Team selections, announced Tuesday.
The NSIC announced that 624 total student-athletes have earned NSIC All-Academic honors for the 2014 fall athletic season. To be eligible for this honor, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better. Furthermore, the student-athlete must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
The UMD selections include senior
Alexandra Rudin, juniors
Hannah Olson and
Erica Seidenkranz, and sophomores
Breanna Colbenson and
Caitlin Richards.
