The University of Minnesota Duluth takes to the field at Malosky Stadium for the final time in 2015 under the lights on Friday evening when the Bulldogs play host to the University of Minnesota-Crookston to begin the weekend finale of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season.
UMD (4-10-2, 3-8-2 NSIC) returns to Duluth for its penultimate match of the season after a frustrating weekend that saw the Bulldogs force overtime against No. 6 Minnesota State University Mankato before falling in a heartbreaker in the 94th minute last Friday afternoon before being tripped up in the 86th minute last Sunday at Concordia University, St. Paul, effecitvely ending UMD's hopes for a return trip to the NSIC postseason.

Sorenson is a marketing major and is looking to line up a job or internship in the field.

McMahon also has reached a career-high in minutes played in 2015, averaging about 30 minutes per game. She is a rare triple major, studiyng biochemistry, chemistry, and Spanish and plans to apply for osteopathy medical school and pursue a future in sports medicine. Finally, senior midfielder
Leah Nesheim will finish up her career with the Bulldogs. Hampered by injuries of her own, she's appeared in just nine games the past two seasons. She netted her first collegiate goal as a freshman season on Sept. 23, 2012 against the University of Sioux Falls. Appearing in four games this season, she's played 90 minutes for the Bulldogs. An education major planning to teach social studies, Nesheim will student teach next fall and then dive into the hunt for a job in the field.
