Over a dozen current and former University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs are getting in some valuable pre-season ice work by participating in development/prospect camps with various National Hockey League clubs in June and July. That group includes 2019-20 Bulldog senior defenseman Nick Wolff (Boston), junior forwards Nick Swaney (Minnesota) and Justin Richards (Boston), junior defensemen Matt Anderson (Philadephia), Scott Perunovich (St. Louis), Louie Roehl (Minnesota) and Dylan Samberg (Winnipeg), sophomore forwards Jackson Cates (Philadelphia), Noah Cates (Philadelphia) and Cole Koepke (Tampa Bay) and freshmen forwards Luke Loheit (Ottawa) and Quinn Olson (Boston).  

In addition, a pair forwards who skated for the NCAA national champion Bulldogs last winter -- captain Parker Mackay and Riley Tufte (both Dallas) -- are also attending NHL camps.

The Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks and New Jersey Devils have yet to release their 2019 camp rosters.
