On Tuesday the Nashville Predators announced the signing of goaltender and Bulldog Hockey alum Kasimir Kaskisuo to a one year, two-way contract for the 2020-21 season.
Kaskisuo, 27 made his NHL debut last year with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Nov. 16, 2019 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Additionally Kaskisuo appeared in 27 games with the Maple Leafs American Hockey League affiliate the Toronto Marlies. Last season in a Marlies uniform, Kaskisuo posted a 2.79 goals against average and .909 save percentage in his fourth full professional season.
Prior to his professional career Kaskisou, spent the 2014-15 and 2015-16 campaigns with the Bulldogs appearing in 75 games for UMD. In those games he compiled a record of 37-29-8, a .920 save percentage, a 2.10 goals against average and 6 shutouts.
