For the second time in as many days, the University of Minnesota Duluth squared off with a Twin Ports opponent and for the second time in as many days, the end result was a Bulldog victory.

After defeating the College of St. Scholastica  in their 2020 season opener the previous night, the Bulldogs rolled to a 8-1 road triumph over the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs came out on top in all three doubles matches and five of six singles events to improve to 2-0 on the season.

UMD also got  straight set singles victories from senior team co-captain Megan Anderson (No. 1), junior Isabel Thiner (No. 5) and sophomore Sarah Will No. 6) while Anderson and Thiner (No. 2) and freshmen Mallory Lithun and Emily Rahrik (No. 3) both posted 8-2 wins in doubles.
