The University of Minnesota Duluth defeated Bemidji State University, 68-58, to remain undefeated on the season. UMD improves to 8-0 overall and 7-0 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. BSU falls to 7-4 overall (6-3 NSIC).

It was back and forth to start the game as there were five lead changes in the first half. The Beavers shot the ball well in the first half, shooting 47.6% on field goals and 50% (5-10) on 3-pointers compared to UMD's 41.2% on field goals and 30% (3-10) on 3-pointers. The Bulldogs still found themselves with a lead going into halftime however due to the turnover battle. UMD forced 10 turnovers from which they scored 13 points off of. UMD only committed one turnover in the half.

The Bulldogs came out and ran away with the game in the second half, getting their lead up to 15 points late in the 4th quarter. They did it with defense as UMD held BSU to shoot just 36.6% from the field and 30% (3-10) on 3-pointers in the second half.Â

Overall, UMD shot 40% (24-60) from the field, 26.3% (5-19) on 3-pointers, won the turnover battle 14-4 and out rebounded BSU 37-31. BSU finished shooting 40% (20-50) from the field and 40% (8-20) on 3-pointers.

Brooke Olson led the Bulldogs in scoring with 22 points, three rebounds and three assists. Sophomore forward
Madelyn Granica finished with 10 points and one steal. Sophomore guard
Taytum Rhoades finished with nine points, 10 rebounds and three assists and senior guard
Ann Simonet finished with seven points, six rebounds and three assists.
