BROOKE OLSON NAMED TO D2CCA ALL AMERICA TEAM

UMD Bulldogs "ALLETE" Moments: Competition
Throughout this year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Power, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs accomplishments in the 3 C's: Classroom, Competition, Community.

Duluth, Minn. -- The D2CCA released their 2021-22 All-American women's basketball teams on Friday morning. Senior Brooke Olson was named as a Honorable Mention All-American for the 2021-22 season.

This is the third time Olson has been recognized by the D2CCA. She was named as the D2CCA Region Player of the Year after her sophomore year and was named a D2CCA Second Team All-American following the shortened 2020-21 season. Olson was once again named the NSIC North Division Player of the Year after she tallied 18.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. She did so shooting 51.2% from the field on the season. Olson also reached the 1,500 point mark for her career during the season, becoming just 7th Bulldog All-Time to reach that mark. Olson also helped lead the Bulldogs to their third straight regular season championship and second straight NSIC Tournament championship.
