The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs played the Missouri-St. Louis Tritons on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs rallied late as they went on to win 8-6, to complete the three-game sweep.
Ethan Cole got the scoring started for the Bulldogs as he singled in a run in the top of the first inning.
Jack Puder added to the tally as he also singled in a run in the top of the first. The Tritons responded in the bottom of the first as a hit by pitch with the bases loaded brought across a run. They followed that up with a bases loaded single that brought in a run. They singled again to bring in another run in the top of the first as the Tritons took a 4-2 lead after the first inning.
Tosten Mann singled to the left side of the field to bring in
Sam Tanner to make it a 4-3 Triton lead.
Sam Tanner got up to the plate in the third inning where he hit a sacrifice fly to right field to bring across Cole to tie the game at 4-4. The Tritons once again took the lead in the bottom of the 6th inning as a single to left field brought in a run and made the game 5-4 Tritons. The Bulldog offense came alive in the 7th inning as they managed to get three runs across; thanks to a Haydon Brown single and a
Nathan Rosenberg double. The Bulldogs also got a run in, in part due to a
Jack Puder steal. The Bulldogs took a 7-5 lead into the 8th inning.
Tosten Mann added to the Bulldog lead in the top of the 8th inning to give the Bulldogs a three run cushion. The Tritons attempted a 8th inning rally, but only got one run across as the Bulldogs went on to win 8-6.
Tosten Mann went 3-4 on the day, including a walk. Mann brought in two runs and scored twice.
Jack Puder went 3-5 on the day and drove in a run adn also scored.
Nathan Rosenberg went 3-5 on the day and drove in a run. Eiden Chase got the win today as he went 4.0 innings, struck out 5 batters and only gave up one earned run.

The Bulldogs will face off agaisnt Northwest Missouri State on tuesday for a doubleheader that will start at 12:00 pm.
