University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey head coach Maura Crowell and the rest of her staff have inked four future Bulldogs in the early signing period, the program announced Wednesday.
The future UMD freshman class of the 2024-25 season includes Kamdyn Davis (Beloit, Wis.), Caitlin Kraemer (Waterloo, Ontario), Zoey Krock (Pittsburgh, Pa.), and Reece Logan (Burlington, Ontario).
Â
"We're really proud to sign these four athletes to UMD today," said Crowell. "It takes a lot of work on both sides to find the perfect fit. One thing became clear to us through the process with these players — they are passionate about being Bulldogs. That clarity is important to us as a coaching staff and team because it means they understand and embrace the values of Bulldog Hockey. Combine that with tremendous talent, humility, and leadership experience, and you have a special group. That's what we have in the class of 2024."

A 5'7 defenseman, Davis was a member of the 2022 U.S. Under-18 Select Team at the Under-18 Series vs. Canada, capping off a year where she was also invited to participate in the 2022 USA Hockey Women's National Festival and the U18 Select Player Development Camp. A 2023 U.S. U18 Festival participant, Davis also attended the 2023 U.S. Select Camp and a U15 Select Player Development Camp in 2021. Enrolled at Beloit Turner High School, Davis skates for the Chicago Mission, and was a Illinois State champion in 2022 and 2023 and Wisconsin State champion in 2020 and 2021.

Kraemer will join the Bulldogs with a wealth of international experience under her belt with the medals to prove it. A member of the 2023 U18 Canada IIHF World Championship team that won gold, Kraemer scored 10 goals in five games and added an assist for 11 points over the tournament – the most goals by any player in the tournament. For her tournament play, Kraemer was named to the U18 IIHF World championship All-Star Team, and was selected one of Canada's Top Players in 2023. The 5'9 center skated for the U18 Canada side in both the 2022 and 2023 U18 Series vs. U.S., and attended the Canadian U18 Summer Development Camp in both 2022 and 2023. Kraemer also helped lead Ontario to a Canada Winter Games bronze medal in 2023, and was named a Canada Scotiabank Rising Teammate in 2021-22. Currently, Kraemer is a member of Waterloo Ravens where she is also a team captain.
Â
Krock signs with the Bulldogs as its first player ever out of the Pittsburgh area. A 2022 U.S. U16/17 National Camp attendee, the 5'4 forward was also invited to the 2021 U15 U.S. National Camp. A three-year captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite, Krock has skated for the Penguins since the 2019-20 season – 2023-24 will mark her fifth-straight season with the organization.
Â
Logan was a member of the U18 Canada side that took part in the U18 Series vs. U.S. in 2023, and was invited to Canada U18 Selection Camp in both 2022 and 2023. The 5'8 forward is currently an assistant captain for OWHA powerhouse Etobicoke Dolphins -- the same club team that current Bulldog Olivia Wallin played for -- and has already racked up three goals and six assists for nine points in just five games - Logan was a Provincial champion in 2021-22 and earned a Stoney Creek Showcase gold medal in both 2021 and 2023, and was also a part of the 2022-23 ROPSSA champions and a silver medalist in 2023.Â
