Box Score The University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs fell 7-0 to the Sioux Falls Cougars in their NSIC match. The Bulldogs will enter their final regular season match tomorrow with a 8-6 overall record and 5-5 record in NSIC play.
"Today's match was a good one, but a tough one," said head coach Jess Worden. "We tried a number of different things, but nothing seemed quite to go our way. It was hard for us to get momentum early in the doubles and it unfortunately carried into singles. Overall it was a great opportunity for our players to try some different tactics and push themselves in preparation for the conference tournament next weekend."
In the doubles section of the match the Bulldogs fell just short in all three matches and were unable to secure a point. In the No. 3 doubles spot was Oliva Honsey and
Brynne Folden. The two Bulldogs were close in their match going 4-6 but came up short.Â
UMD was also blanked in the singles matches but had a few close matches.
