University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey graduate senior
Mannon McMahon was named to the 2023 U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team announced Sunday by USA Hockey.
McMahon is one of 12 forwards selected on a team of 23 current collegiate players. The squad will compete in a three-game series with Canada on August 16,17 and 19 at the Lake Placid Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y.
McMahon set a career mark offensively last season, posting 10 goals and 19 assists for 29 points, and was named the Bulldogs captain for 2023-24. The product of Maple Grove, Minn. will make her USA Hockey senior-level debut in the series.
The U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team is normally referenced as the U.S. Under-22 Women's Select Team, but due to extended collegiate eligibility, all players with collegiate eligibility were able to make the team.
