The University of Minnesota Duluth men's basketball team travels this Saturday to take on the St. Cloud State University Huskies in their only Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matchup of the weekend.

THE SEASON SO FAR
The Bulldogs split their last weekend's matchups, taking the win over the University of Mary Marauders and falling to the Minot State University Beavers. The Bulldogs now sit at fourth in the NSIC with an overall record of 11-4 and a conference record of 6-3.
RANKINGS, RANKINGS, RANKINGS
Following their weekend split, the Bulldogs have fallen out of the NABC national rankings for the first time this season. UMD still ranks first in the conference for three point percentage defense (28.1), and remains in the top three in seven other statistical categories, including: assists / turnover ratio (1.57), blocks per game (3.7), effective FG percentage (55%), field goal percentage (49.6%), field goal percentage defense (41.8%), free throw attempts per game (22.1), and scoring margin (12.6).
WIECK'S MILLENNIALS
All five of the Bulldog's core starters (Austin Andrews, Drew Blair, Joshua Brown, Charlie Katona, and Jack Middleton) have achieved 1,000+ career points. The group currently has 6,946 combined points and look to grow that number throughout the season.
SCOUTING REPORT - ST. CLOUD STATE
The St. Cloud State Huskies rank at 12th in the NSIC, with an overall record of 6-8 and a conference record of 2-6 following their pair of losses against the University of Sioux Falls Cougars and the Southwest Minnesota State University Mustangs. These two teams last met over a year ago, with the Bulldogs pulling out the 84-80 win in overtime. UMD is 10-9 against the Huskies since 2013.
LOOKING AHEAD
Men's Basketball will take on the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons and the Northern State University Wolves before returning for their homestand in Romano Gym at the end of the month. The action for the Bulldogs will tip off on Friday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 PM.
