THE SEASON SO FAR
The Bulldogs now sit at second place in the NSIC standings after their weekend sweep over Minot State and UMary. With an overall record of 22-5 and a conference record of 17-4, the Bulldogs most likely are looking at a first round bye for themselves in the NSIC postseason tournament.
RANKINGS, RANKINGS, RANKINGS
The Bulldogs moved up to No.17 in the NABC national rankings last week, with Minot State moving down to the No.23 spot while Mankato and Moorhead occupy the No.5 and No.8 spots respectively. The Bulldogs hold on to the highest rated three point percentage defense (29.6%) in the conference while also remaining top three in nine other statistical categories, including: blocks per game (3.6), field goal percentage (48.5%), and scoring margin (+11.4).
WIECK'S MILLENNIALS
All five of the Bulldog's core starters (Austin Andrews, Drew Blair, Joshua Brown, Charlie Katona, and Jack Middleton) have achieved 1,000+ career points. The group currently has 7,709 combined points and look to grow that number throughout the season.
SCOUTING REPORT - ST. CLOUD STATE
St. Cloud State sits at tenth place in the NSIC following a win over Sioux Falls last weekend. The Bulldogs are 11-9 against the Huskies since 2013, defeating them on the road 75-66 in their most recent matchup earlier this season.
