The University of Minnesota Duluth wrapped up the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference season over the weekend with a pair of matches in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Bulldogs were upended 7-0 by the University of Sioux Falls late Saturday night then were bested 7-0 by NSIC regular season champion Augustana University the following morning.

Isabelle Simon and freshman
Olivia Gorton picked up the doubles No. 2 win over the USF pairing of Emma Rangel and Katelyn Nesheim. Simon and Gorton won 6-3 as Simon picked up her team leading sixth doubles win and Gorton grabbed her second triumph.
The Bulldogs finished the season 4-12 overall and bid farewell to seniors

Olivia Honsey, who will graduate in May and played in their final collegiate matches this weekend.
Da Silva partook in her final year of eligibility at UMD after suiting up the previous three years for Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. A two-time All-Academic recipient, da Silva bolstered the UMD lineup with her play and her leadership to assume the No. 1 singles and doubles rotation. Taking the step up against the next best competition, da Silva kicked off her Bulldog career with a opening match win against No. 1 Katia Bartels of cross-town rival College of St. Scholastica. She also compiled a pair of doubles victories with sophomore
Courtney Eppen and finished her career with 15 singles and 12 doubles victories during her playing tenure. '
Honsey debuted as a walk-on freshman in 2022. Now a team captain in her final collegiate go-around, Honsey has built a reputation of unwavering support of her teammates and unquestioned work ethnic. She amassed 18 singles victories and 11 doubles victories during her time playing in multiple roles including a nine-game singles winning streak her sophomore year. This season, Honsey led her team with four wins in singles action and captured three wins in doubles competition.
