The University of Minnesota Duluth will hold its first-ever Fall Baseball Prospect Camp on August 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the UMD campus
The camp will consist of 2014-2016 high school graduates who are interested in attending school and playing baseball at UMD. This camp will include a campus and athletics facilities tour with the on-field "practice" running similar to a Bulldog baseball team's, with evaluation by the UMD coaching staff.
In addition, the Bulldogs will also annual UMD Fall Instruction Camps. The camps will have three different age categories: Grades 5-6, Grades 7-8, and Grades 9-12, and twill run on Sundays from Aug. 25 to Sept. 22 with Sept. 29 as a rain/make-up date.
Camp instructors for these camps will include current Bulldog players and coaches. Campers will be exposed to a fun atmosphere and gain a better understanding of the game by learning the necessary fundamentals to excel in their baseball careers.
