University of Minnesota Duluth offensive lineman Brent Laing has received and accepted an invitation to the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine. 

The Combine will be held Feb. 27-March 6, 2023 in Indianapolis. The Combine is an intense four-day long camp to showcase the talent of the best college football players looking to get drafted to the NFL.In February, 300 of the best college football players are invited to the National Invitation Camp. All 32 NFL teams will have Top Executives, Coaching Staffs, Player Personnel Departments and Medical Personnel in attendance to evaluate those at the Combine. 

Laing, a 2022 UMD football team captain from Lakeville, Minn., is the first Bulldog to be invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. Laing recently played in the East-West Shrine Bowl in Las Vegas. Prior to the 2022 season, Laing was named to the Reese's Senior Bowl watch list for a second time. In both 2022 and 2021 he earned first team All-NSIC honors as well as being named to the 2022 AFCA All-American First Team.
