UMD Bulldogs "ALLETE" Moments: Competition

Throughout this year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Power, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs accomplishments in the 3 C's: Classroom, Competition, Community. 

University of Minnesota Duluth senior goalkeeper Jennifer Norris has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after two shutout performances this past weekend.

Norris made twelve saves, including nine against Augustana University on Friday. She also faced a total of eight corner kicks.

The Hoffman Estates, Ill. native has started and played every minute of the Bulldogs' eight games so far this season. She's made a total of 46 saves and helped the team to two wins and three ties this season. 

Norris and her team take the field again this weekend, traveling to play Concordia St. Paul at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29 and Minnesota State Mankato at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1.
