Back to back non-conference road contests and an early October matchup with the NCAA DII national runners up highlight an action packed 2025 schedule for the University of Minnesota Duluth soccer team, which was officially released today.
Â
The Bulldogs start their season in a similar fashion as the last with a pair of matchups against two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference powerhouses, the Michigan Tech Huskies (9/5) and the Northern Michigan Wildcats (9/7), on the road in Michigan.
Â
UMD will open their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schedule with a Friday battle against the University of Sioux Falls Cougars at home in James S. Malosky Stadium on September 19. On October 10, the Bulldogs hit the road for a matchup with the reigning NSIC champions and the NCAA DII national runners up, the Minnesota State University Mankato Mavericks. UMD will also take on next year's newest member of the NSIC, the University of Jamestown Jimmies, on the road in North Dakota on October 31.
Â
Bulldog soccer tallied an overall record of 2-12-3 and a 2-9-3 conference record throughout the 2024 season, ending 11th in the NSIC standings.
