Softball Third Baseman (1986-89)

Attained All-Northern Sun Conference recognition in 1986, 1987 and 1989 ... Was a member of three NSC championship teams during her four years of starting duty and helped lead the Bulldogs to a runnerup finish at the 1988 NAIA National Tournament. ... Hung up her spikes for good in the spring of 1989 owning career team records for games played, at bats, hits, doubles, triples, runs batted in, total bases and slugging percentage while posting a .351 lifetime batting average ... Set Bulldog single-season marks for RBIs, doubles and fielding assists (all as a junior) ... Was the co-recipient of UMD’s Outstanding Female Senior Athlete award in 1988-89 ... Served as a Bulldog assistant coach for two years (1990 and 1991) and as the head softball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Superior for one season (1992) ... Received a B.A. degree in communication from UMD in 1989 and in teaching English from Concordia College in 1995 and a Master of Arts from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in 2006
