UMD Athletic Hall of Fame
Hoffmann, holds the distinction of being UMD's first AVCA All-American First Team honoree (2002) and its first four-time All-NSIC Team honoree. The first player in NSIC history to be named that league's Most Valuable Player twice (2001 and 2002), Hoffman received Daktronics All-North Central Region honors on three occasions. Hoffmann exited the Bulldog program as its all-time leader in hitting percentage (3.40), while ranking second in blocks (356), third in kills (1,641). She captained the 2002 Bulldogs to an NSIC title (while going a perfect 18-0 in league play) and its first ever AVCA II No. 1 national ranking (which UMD held for three weeks) as a senior, and secured a spot on the 2002 North Central Regional All-Tournament Team. Hoffmann capped off her collegiate career by being voted UMD's Outstanding Female Athlete for 2002-03.
