Accumulated four letters in three different sports as a Bulldog ... participated in three AIAW Division II National Volleyball Tournaments (1977, 1979 and 1980) ... started all four years at middle hitter on a Bulldog club which amassed a cumulative record of 219-26 ... captained UMD to its fourth straight Minnesota AIAW volleyball championship as a senior and, for her efforts, gained a spot on the MAWIW All-Tournament team ... captured the 1981 MAWIW 100-meter hurdles and long jump crowns ... was selected Minnesota-Duluth's Outstanding Senior Female Athlete for the 1980-81 campaign ... graduated from UMD  in 1982 with a B.S. degree in Life Science and Physical Education ... served as the head volleyball coach at Burnsville High School for six seasons (1983-88) and assisted with the Braves girl's basketball and track and field programs as well.
