Lettered 10 times in three different sports at Minnesota-Duluth...captained the Bulldogs to the inaugural Northern Sun Conference softball title in 1984 while landing All-NSC recognition...stole a school-record 27 bases during her collegiate softball career...played on two NSC champions and AIAW Division II national tournament participants  in volleyball...was a four-year starter for the basketball Bulldogs and their Most Valuable Player Award recipient as a junior and senior...was chosen UMD's Outstanding Female Senior Athlete for 1982-83...coached varsity volleyball, basketball and softball at St. Paul Johnson High School from 1985-91...directed the Governors to Minnesota State High School Tournament volleyball and softball appearances in 1990...was the head coach of the St. Paul Blades (a consolidated girl's hockey team of the St. Paul high schools) for two years, 1995-97...received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in physical education from Minnesota-Duluth in 1984
