A member of 2008 and 2010 NCAA Division II National Championship teams, Odim was a 2009 Harlon Hill Trophy Award Finalist, and finished fourth in final voting. A 2010 National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award recipient, Odim was also a 2009 American Football Coaches Association, D2football.com, Daktronics and Dan Hansen Football Gazette First Team All-American. Odim was also a 2010 AP Little College and Daktronics Second Team All-American, as well as a 2008 Dan Hansen Football Gazette Third Team All-American. Named the 2009 NSIC Most Valuable Offensive Player, Odim was a three-time NSIC All-Conference selection and holds the program record for rushing yards in a season (1,808) and a career (4,242), along with rushing TDs in a season (29) and career (72). Odim also holds the program record all-purpose yards in a game (354), a season (2,496) and career (5,593). The 2010 team captain signed a free agent three-year deal undrafted rookie contract with the San Diego Chargers in July of 2011. Odim was also a 2010-11 CoSIDA Academic All-America of the Year for football (college division) -- becoming just the second Bulldog athlete in any sport to be so honored – and one of 16 winners of the National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award, which includes an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship. A two-time CoSIDA All-Academic All-America First Team selection (2009 and 2010), Odim was also the winner of the inaugural Bob Stein College Scholar-Athlete Award (Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation).
