UMD Athletic Hall of Fame
UMD's Outstanding Female Senior Athlete in 1995, Plante, formally Duncan, was named to the 1994-95 NSIC All-Conference for basketball. Plante helped captain the basketball team to the NSIC title and UMD's first-ever berth in the 1995 NCAA II North Central playoffs. Plante left UMD third on the all-time list for career assists with 441. On the softball field, Plante was a 1994 NCAA Division II All-Midwest Regional Team for softball, as well as an NSIC All-Conference selection. The 1994 NSIC RBI Champion, Plante helped the Bulldogs to the 1995 NSIC Regular Season title. Plante was a two-year starter in basketball and three-year starter in softball.
