Capped of his Bulldog basketball career with a second straight selection to the All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Team in 1962-63...reigned as the MIAC's leading rebounder as a junior...UMD racked up a 79-20 overall record and captured a pair of MIAC championships during his four-year tenure...was the Bulldog' team captain and their Most Valuable Player Award winner in 1962-63...took part in pre-season camps and exhibition games with the National Basketball League with the Milwaukee Bucks (1967-68)...played two years (1971-73) in the Continental Basketball League with the Milwaukee Metallist Modes...also had a professional Baseball tryout with Minnesota Twins in 1963...is the namesake of the Harry Oden Minority and Disability Scholarship at UMD...received UMD's Distinguished Alumni Award in 1990...graduated from UMD in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
