A walk-on who went on to be a 2004 Daktronics Third Team All-American and a 2003 Don Hansen Football Gazette First Team All-American.
Finished career holding program records for career sacks (29.0) and tackles for a loss (45.5).
Also finished with the single season records for sacks (15.0, 2003) and tackles for a loss (19.5, 2003).
Was a 2003 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-League selection and a 2004 All-NCC (North Central Conference) First Team choice.
The 2004 team captain became the second player in program history to participate in the Hula Bowl, a NCAA Division I All-Star Game.
Went on to sign a professional contract with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints and was also signed by the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers.
Was selected in the third round of the 2006 NFL Europe League Draft where he played for the Hamburg Sea Devils in 2006.
