Closed out his prosperous Bulldog career in 1983-84 by being named the Northern Intercollegiate Conference’s Most Valuable Player while securing NAIA All-American (honorable mention), NAIA All-District 13 and All-NIC honors ... started in a then-school record 115 straight games and helped the Bulldogs post a 93-22 overall record during his four-year stay ... racked up 499 points in 1983-84 -- the highest scoring total by a Bulldog in 19 years -- while captaining UMD to a share of its third consecutive NIC title ... was a three-time All-NIC selection and UMD’s leading scorer as a sophomore, junior and senior ... was used at both the guard and forwards positions ... held down the No. 3 spot on the Bulldogs’ all-time scoring charts with 1,708 points when he left the UMD basketball program ... voted to UMD’s All-75th Anniversary Team in 2006 ... spent one season (1984-85) as a Bulldog student assistant coach ... earned a B.A.S. degree in industry technology from UMD in 1985.
