Starred for four years on the basketball court and baseball diamond for the Bulldogs ... Was selected the Northern Intercollegiate Conference Most Valuable Player and NAIA District 13 Player of the Year as a basketball senior in 1991-92 ... Started in all 127 games (a school record) over four years for Bulldog clubs that posted a 103-26 overall record and a 43-5 conference mark ... Amassed the most career assists (559) and steals (225) in program history ... Collared All-NIC status in both 1991-92 (first team) and 1990-91 (honorable mention) ... Captained UMD to its fourth successive NIC basketball championship and NAIA National Tournament berth in 1991-92 ... Landed a spot on UMD’s All-75th Annivsersary Basketball Team (in a vote of Bulldog alumni) ... Was a three-time All-NIC baseball honoree (1990-92), working out of the shortstop, third base and left fielder positions ... Ranked first among Bulldogs in hitting in 1991 and 1990 and home runs in 1992 ... Was the recipient of UMD’s Outstanding Senior Male Athlete for 1991-92 ... Received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science from UMD in 2003 ... Has coached youth athletics for the past 15 years ... Currently is the head coach for the Middleton (Wis.) High School girls' basketball junior varsity ... Is a registered Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association basketball official ... Is a native of Antigo, Wis.
