Is generally recognized, along with the likes of fellow 1993 Hall of Fame Inductee Harvey Flaman, as one of the first of the UMD hockey greats ... helped lead the Bulldogs to three Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles during his three-year collegiate career ... racked up 62 goals and 89 assists for 151 points in 62 outings ... placed first on the 1957-58 club scoring charts after finishing second in the points department the previous two seasons ... co-captained the Bulldogs during his farewell season ... set Bulldog records (pre-NCAA Division I) for goals in one period (five vs. Hamline University in 1957) and assists in one game (seven vs. Gustavus Adolphus in 1958) ... graduated in 1958 with a B.A. degree in Business and Economics.
